Shelley from Links To Library visited.  She read the story, Lost and Found Cat by Doug Kuntz and Amy Shrodes, the true story of a cat's journey to reunite with his refugee family.

Our Bulletin for February Character trait:  Caring and Kindness




Read Across America 



Ms. Lozinski shared two books, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba, the inspiring true story about a boy who grew up in Malawi and helped all the lives in his community and Dream Something Big by Dianna Hutts Aston, the story about Italian immigrant Simon Rodia, who built towers out of broken glass, seashells and pottery.   The towers are located in Watts, California and are now a National Landmark.
